ABOUT JACK’S

Hi Y’all! My name is Jack Lester and I’m the proud owner of Jack’s Bottle Shop in Rochester, MN.

I’m originally from Southeast Minnesota and have worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry my whole life. Like many people, I’ve had my ups and downs, but through each experience I’ve grown and learned. I’ve been fortunate to have met some really incredible people throughout those years and have fallen in love with the craft beer community.

I’ve been able to learn over the last 6 years from some of the best in the biz. Great folks like Austin Jevne at Forager Brewery, and the colleagues I’ve had the pleasure of working with have taught me so much about craft beer but more importantly, they have become family. They, along with many others in the beer community, have been there for me when I needed it the most.

Last November, I lost my #1…my son Marcus James. He was the light of my life. My everything.
As my world came crashing down, the craft beer community rallied behind me. People that I had never met reached out, supported me, and continue to lift me up each day. It’s the people in this craft community as well as my son who have given me the strength to want to give back to the community in every way I can.

So when I say that Jack’s Bottle Shop is more than a beer shop, I mean it. It’s place where people come to  gather and to share the good times, as well as the bad. A place where positive vibes are free flowing and everyone is welcome.
